Mislava Bertoša is associate professor of linguistics and semiotics at Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb. She is head of the Department of Linguistics, chair of the Section of Semiology and deputy head of the PhD programme in Linguistics. Her interests include onomastics, sociosemiotics, discourse analysis, and language and sexuality issues. She is editor-in-chief of the linguistic journal Suvremena lingvistika (Contemporary Linguistics).
