Ida Raffaelli is a professor at Department of Linguistics at Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Zagreb, Croatia. Her main research interests are semantics, syntax, cognitive linguistics and diachronic semantics. She was editor in chief of the linguistic journal Suvremena ingvistika/Contemporary linguistics (2005-2015). She is co-organizer and lecturer at the International Interdisciplinary Summer School of Academic Communication for PhD students from all scientific fields (held in Split, in collaboration with Professor Ana Marušić). She was collaborator on the international project EOSS (Evolution of Semantic Systems) and head of the Croatian research team, Max Planck Institute for Psycholinguistics, Nijmegen (2012-2014). She was member of the steering committee (and leader of the Croatian research team) of the European Science Foundation Research Networking Programme «The European Network on Word Structure. Cross-disciplinary approaches to understanding word structure in the languages of Europe” (2011- 2015). She is author of two scientific books (monographs) and more than twenty scientific articles.
